The exterior renovation of the Cottage, which houses several classrooms, a dedicated rehearsal room for hand-bell choirs, and an electronic keyboard lab, involved the upgrade of the entire building skin.  Completed over the college’s winter break, the project included removing the existing exterior walls, windows, and doors and
re-sheathing and re-skinning the façade with Hardie Plank as well as installing new windows and doors.  The project also included replacing and reconfiguring the
building’s entire roofing system.  Exterior lighting upgrades, minor HVAC upgrades, and associated interior trim work were also part of the project’s scope.
