In order to accommodate study patterns of college students, the university renovated the second floor of their main library to accommodate ten group study rooms. The project involved constructing private meeting spaces in two areas of the second floor that each featured a glass-enclosed room, a conference table and chairs, white boards mounted on room walls and accommodations for LCD monitors for group viewing of team research and classwork. As part of the project, existing book stacks were relocated and mechanical and electrical systems were reconfigured and upgraded.
