Complete renovation of the commercial kitchen located in the basement of the St. Boniface School.  The new facility provides space for storage, food preparation and distribution, and cleanup for up to 270 students for multiple daily meals.  The project included repair/replacement of plumbing, fixtures, and equipment, a new dedicated electrical panel, new freezer and cooler boxes, improvements to accommodate new layout, and a complete upgrade of finishes.  Funded through the Federal Head Start Program, the project was designed and constructed in accordance with all applicable Head Start regulations including meeting federal wage requirements and implementing a formal Economic Opportunity Program.  Procured on a design/build basis, the project had a four month schedule from the beginning of design to owner occupancy and is RACP Compliant.
