University of Pennsylvania Opens New Heyer Lobby at Ryan Veterinary Hospital

The University of Pennsylvania unveiled the new Ryan Veterinary Hospital lobby and entrance which was constructed by Canuso Jorden. Attended by donors, friends, and supporters of Penn Vet, the event celebrated the facility which was made possible by a generous donation from Andrew R. and Mindy H. Heyer. University of Pennsylvania President Amy Gutman and Penn Vet Dean Joan Hendricks both lauded the Heyer’s donation as well as praised the “transformative project for the hospital”. Featuring a new entrance, an expanded and reconfigured reception area, modernized waiting rooms, an expanded business office, new treatment rooms, and a renovated minor treatment room, the renovation project was completed while the hospital – including the adjacent emergency department – remained occupied and operational.
