Wachman Hall Receives LEED Gold Certification

The project team for Temple University’s Wachman Hall renovation project has been notified by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) that the project has attained LEED Gold status based on the organization’s Commercial Interiors certification process. Evaluated for energy efficiency and environmental responsibility, the project’s award reflects a commitment to the design and construction process by the entire team – Temple University, Jacobs, and Canuso Jorden.

In addition to the construction and installation of energy-efficient systems and environmentally-friendly materials, Canuso Jorden’s contributions included the effective storage and collection of recyclables as well as exceptional construction waste management – where the company’s expertise allowed the project to obtain additional innovation credits as well.
